Large hardcover with dust jacket. The book is in good clean condition with blue linen boards. Published in 1976 by the Foreign Affairs Association, Pretoria with 144 pages, maps and b/w photographs. The dust jacket is seriously shelf-rubbed and tears and chaffed along the edges and spine ends. Tanning of pages along margins, mostly top margin. This book is the outcome of a conference held in Umtata. The purpose was to introduce the Transkei and its people to the international community in view of the coming of independence in October 1975. No shipping overseas.
