On offer is a postcard posted from Mashanghaan's Rest, care of Bonne-Fooi postal agency (19-6-1894), located between Carolina and Machadodorp, via Hlomo Hlom (20-6-1894) to Barberton (23-6-1894). The postal agency at Hlomo Hlom operated from July 1887 to 1899, and postal items bearing it's postamrk are rare.
Very little is known of Mashanghaan's Rest, and the "C. E. Kershaw" purple oval handstamp on the reverse makes this a unique item. Central horizontal fold.
