Book plate in Volume Eight on end page stated (see first picture) that RJ Swartz was a foundation member of the Junior Literary Society. This certificate also serves to identify first edition of Treasure Casket first published in South Africa 1947.

1947 Jun. Literary Society Seven hardback volumes, sun tanned spines, Apart from vol 7- first pages not completely tight and covers loose, all other books reasonable well binded, clean illus lovely coloured and black and white plates and illustrations, few age marks mostly on end pages.
