Tretchikoff by Richard Buncher

Wire binder - book internally clean but with a very stained, rubbed and knocked cover.   Previous owner's name in ink on front end paper.   Outer slip cover is present but in a VERY tattered and torn state.   Mainly black and white illustrations, two of which are missing (numbers 53 & 54) and 55 & 56 are present but have been removed from binder and cut down in size.   Of the six colour prints three have been removed (numbers 18, 26, & 40).   Such a pity - as it is an interesting look at some of Tretchikoff's lesser known works.  There are also a few magazine and newspaper cuttings in the front of the book.   Howard Timmins - Cape Town 1950.
