Morocops Trilobite Time Traveler: A Fossil 400 Million Years in the Making

Size:  37mm x 42mm x 34mm Approximately
Weight:  54 gram
This Authentic Morocops Trilobite fossil is a rare and stunning relic from the Devonian seas, a time when Earth was ruled by strange marine creatures and early land plants. Found in the fossil-laden region of Issoumour, Morocco, this specimen is a testament to nature's ability to preserve its past.
Trilobites were among the first creatures to develop sophisticated vision, with their calcite crystal eyes allowing them to detect movement and navigate their surroundings. Their exoskeletons protected them from predators, while their multiple legs helped them scavenge for food on the seafloor. Trilobites grew through molting, a process similar to that of modern crustaceans.
Though they thrived for millions of years, trilobites disappeared forever in the wake of the Permian mass extinction, a devastating event that reshaped life on Earth. Today, their fossils serve as a time capsule of evolution, with Morocco's fossil beds offering some of the most beautiful and well-preserved specimens in the world!
