Trio JR 310 amateur radio receiver - built by Kenwood.
This radio was built in the 1960's
It covers ham bands 10m - 80m.
I'm not a ham , but I just took a long piece of wire and threw it over the roof. I could receiver far off stations as well as some amateur hams.
The signal strength meter does not seem to work, it never moved.
Instrument lights work and all knobs seem to do something.
I don't have the manual, but I have 2 manuals of very similar models, and I found a workshop manual and circuit diagram for the JR-310 on the net.
It contains 6 valves in the circuit.
Postage R80 counter to counter. EFT payment, add 2% for insurance, and 2% on top of everything for cash deposits.
The underside (cover removed). Looks original and untouched
I forgot to take pictures of inside the top cover, but essentially you see the 6 original valves carefully covered in 50 years of dust.
