Trio Vintage Handmade Wooden Ducks Bronze Brass Copper
These vintage, handcrafted wooden duck figurines feature ornate brass and copper inlay detailing. All three are fashioned from solid dark hardwood (possibly teak) and display unique repoussé brass and copper overlays on the wings, neck, and eyes. The intricate metalwork is called "armoured wings" and is attached in places with small brass pins or studs.
These decorative items are identified as handicrafts and folk art from the Rajasthan or Kashmir regions of India, or sometimes Thailand and parts of the Middle East.
These date from the mid-20th century, from the 1950s to the 1980s. They all present a pleasing patina associated with their age. They have not been polished before listing.
