It can be installed between doorways, gateways, driveways etc. and will be triggered off when someone walks through the almost invisible gut, setting off the device which goes off with a loud explosion making the person think that he or she has been injured.
The TRIP WIRE BANG can also be installed above the height of your children and animals.
How it Works
Mount the unit where it will not be triggered by pets, such as large dogs. Put some thought as to where to mount it,as it should be as inconspicuous as possible. It must be firmly mounted onto a solid base such as a pole or a wall (four screws supplies) to work reliably.
Tie the free end of the trip line to a from attachment point unit across the passageway, ensuring that it would not have excessive slack play when the Trip Wire Bang is set. Pull up the firing pin by the finger ring and insert the safety clip to engage the safety groove on the firing pin.
Insert a cap into its channel in the base, pointing downwards. Note that the channel is off-center in relation to the firing pin as the cap has a rim fire primer. Insert the rim of the trip washer (supplied tied to the other end of the trip line) into the trip groove below the finger ring. Remove the safety to arm the Trip Wire Bang.
As simple as that....
CAUTION!!!
The Trip Wire Bang must never be fired near the eyes or ears. It can also have an unpredictable effect on animals. It must be on safe mode or preferably disarmed when not in use, and keep inflammable material away from it.
REUSABLE
The Bang Wire Trip is R295-00 per unit and is also reusable by simple replacing the Hilti caps which we have on special for R50.00 for 10 caps or Individually they are R7.00 each
