Triple Scale Alcohol-meter + 1 Measuring Cylinder
Alcoholometer Hydrometer For Home Brew Alcohol Volume Testing, Triple Scale (1 Free Measuring Cylinder 250ml or 100ml)
Triple Scale: Specific Gravity (0.99 - 1.16),Brix/Balling (0-35),Potential Alcohol (0%-20%)
High Quality Hydrometer For Home Brew Alcohol Volume Testing Alcohol Brix Meter
Main Uses
Measuring Original Gravity (OG): Taken before adding yeast to record the starting sugar level and calculate potential alcohol.
Tracking Fermentation: Monitors declining density to see if yeast is actively consuming sugar.
Determining Final Gravity (FG): Confirms when fermentation has stopped by getting a stable reading over consecutive days.
Calculating Alcohol by Volume (ABV): Subtracts the final gravity from the original gravity and multiplies by a conversion factor (around 131.25) to find the final alcohol percentage
The Three Scales Explained
Specific Gravity (SG): Measures the density of the liquid compared to pure water (which reads 1.000).
Brix: Measures the percentage of sugar by weight in the unfermented liquid.
Potential Alcohol: Estimates the final alcohol percentage if all the sugar converts completely to alcohol
