Description
Double bill of horrors from the 'Troll' series and a documentary centred on 'Troll 2'. In 'Troll' (1986) the wholesome Potter family move into a new apartment block, unaware that it is inhabited by trolls. Their young daughter, Wendy (Jenny Beck), is possessed by the trolls before the monstrous beings proceed to turn the whole building into a forest, and the tenants into repulsive mythological creatures.
In 'Troll 2' (1989) a family arrive in a quaint little town for their annual holiday, only to find that they are greeted by the local peasants giving away food to tourists. Unbeknownst to them, the generous villagers are trolls in disguise and the food contains a potion which turns humans into vegetables for them to eat. Finally, the documentary 'Best Worst Movie' (2009) explores the success of 'Troll 2', from its initial reception as being considered the worst film of all time to evolving into a cult favourite.
