The clear castor oil is a result of cold-pressed castor beans; this is the castor oil everyone is familiar with and remembers from childhood days. Whereas, Jamaican black castor oil gets its dark brown colour from roasting of the castor beans, followed by boiling of the roasted beans before they are pressed to release the 100% pure, natural castor oil. Due to the roasting process the oil contains ash, which improves the efficacy of the oil.
