IN THIS LOT THERE'S A REALLY NICE VINTAGE SILVER PLATED YAMAHA TRUMPET ON OFFER. THIS IS NOT A PLAYTHING, BUT A SOLID QUALITY VINTAGE INSTRUMENT (MANUFACTURED ON 6 MARCH 1945) IN GOOD ORDER WITH ALL VALVES OPERATING PROPERLY. IT MEASURES 55 cm IN LENGTH. THIS IS ALTOGETHER A VERY GOOD AND PLAYABLE INSTRUMENT.
THE TRUMPET SEEN FROM A DIFFERENT ANGLE.
A COMBINED IMAGE TO SHOW THE MARKINGS ON THE TRUMPET. THE MARK AT THE TOP IS SITUATED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BELL, NEAR THE OPENING AND AT THE TOP AND THE BOTTOM MARK ON THE TUBULAR PIPE WHERE THE MOUTHPIECE IS INSERTED. IN ADDITION THE TRUMPET ALSO HAS THE SERIES MARK ON THE CENTRE VALVE YTR 6345S. 301121 (WHICH INDICATES THAT IT WAS MANUFACTURED ON 6 MARCH 1945)
THERE ARE SOME INDSIGNIFICANT DINGS ON THE INSTRUMENT. IN THE IMAGE ABOVE YOU CAN SEE SOME DENTING ON THE EXTREME BACK TUBULAR BEND AND SOME BENDING OF THE FRONT OF THE BELL.
