Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour

Tsitsikamma Canopy Tours is a fun and informative 2,5 to 3 hour “foofie slide" tour of the Tsitsikamma indigenous forest. Run by an eco tourism company. You are guaranteed to have a forest experience you’ll never forget! This company is involved in numerous community projects and has won numerous local awards, proving your money spent here can make a difference.

The tour runs daily from 08:00 (in school holidays earlier) and a tour departs every half an hour. Kids 7 years and older are welcome and this is not a strenuous activity. On the tour you can expect to see our breath taking indigenous forest as you glide along our ten platforms and find yourself up to 30 metres above the forest floor! Your guides are present throughout the tour and share their interesting facts on the forest at each platform. You may even sight the Knysna Loerie and the elusive Narina Trogon. About 2.5 hours later you exit the forest, having undertaken the journey of a lifetime. A delicious light lunch will be waiting for you at our Restaurant.
