Years of off-road adventure backcountry travel has taught us dust, mud and repeated use is a zipper destroyer, zippers on the lid of a tank bag will break at some stage or the other, always in a location where it is impossible to repair.We have worked for months to develop a tank bag with is modular, universal fit, waterproof and built like an old battle tank to survive for years of unrelenting sun and travel, but
with one big difference, the lid was designed for quick open/close one-hand operation and have no main zipper to open and close the lid.

The tank bag is crafted from our near-indestructible UV and waterproof RhinoCote Ripstop Polyester High Tenacity fabric, and combined with a non-slip, non-scratch padded bottom and tenaciously strong durable webbing and buckles, the BullFrog 8L is built and designed to withstand years of extreme outdoor exposure motorcycle expeditions.
Triple waterproof barrier
- The Bullfrog lid is made from high density closed-cell foam (EVA and high density polyethylene sheet sandwiched between layers of waterproof fabric.
- The additional benefit allows for more weight and storage pouches to be fitted on the lid.
- Inside the tank bag is an additional draw-string closure that is also waterproof and a waterproof removable roll-top liner for added security when carrying sensitive gear like cameras and electronics.Everything included, this tank bag is entirely waterproof, mudproof, and dustproof.
Perfect protection
Protecting sensitive gear such as cameras and electronics is essential. The bottom of the Bullfrog is padded with high density close-cell foam as well as the sides. Minimising vibrations and protecting gear against hard knocks when carrying the tank bag around as a day-pack.It has rigid sides, but still soft enough to bend and shape to absorb impacts to protect gear inside the bag.

In the bag
The large main compartment inside the Bullfrog features hook-and-loop walls and a movable divider with stretch/elastic loops to secure cables and small items.And to keep your electronic devices charged, we've added a built-in cable pass-through port and an additional big mesh zip pocket.
On the lid
The lid of the Bullfrog tank bag is fitted with PALS webbing to allow for MOLLE pouches to expand storage, easy to reach water bottle holders, easy access Trekbagstorage pouches, map pockets or whatever you need close at hand.An adjustable stretch cord on the lid is ideal to strap down gloves or riding gear that needs to be close at hand, there are 4 small pockets to store items such as snacks, cables, tyre gauges, multi-tools, headphones, batteries, and credit cards, and all the souvenirs. Inside the lid features two zip mesh pockets, one with a cable pass-through slot and a pen loop.
Easy attachment and carry
An easy On/Off mounting harness makes for quick and easy re-fuelling and when needing to remove the bag from the motorcycle. The steering front harness uses 25mm buckles for quick fit/removal. With the Bullfrog we supply 2 sets of rear mounting strap sets. Both can be used for the quick removal and fitment of the tankbag. With the buckle rear strap set option the tank bag can be carried like a sling bag over the shoulder.
Quick re-fit between motorcycles.
With the quick release/fit harness the Bullfrog can easily and quickly swapped between different motorbikes for riders with more than one motorcycle.Cow patties sometimes happens, running out of luck on a dirt road, eating some dirt, now and then there is a need to make some field repairs.
