Water and dustproof inner liner, check!
The second layer consists of an inner liner that fits inside the Duffalo and secures the opening rim of the duffel with hook & loop (that stuff that makes the tearing sounds).The inside is a light colour to allow you to see the contents easier. The liner is removable so that the moto adventure duffel bag can be used with or without the liner. Water might still gather between the liner and the outer bag, but it will not penetrate the inner-liner. If the worst should happen and the inner liner does get damaged. it can simply be replaced without the need to replace the entire bag.
Double Layer Design
The kryptonite of all the PU/PVC type duffels is that they get holes and eventually tears (and Duck Tape only lasts so long!). Abrasion, continuous shaving and sharp objects have a way to damage those bags, so we decided to go with an inner liner as we believe a dual-layer is a must.If your outer bags are torn, they will be easy to fix while your inner bag still keeps your valuables safe from dust and water. If you tear the inner bag, that can be temporarily repaired, but easily replaced. Why throw away a bag just because the fabric that is supposed to keep it water and dustproof can't deal with hair-raising motorbike dual-sport adventures?
Additional inner padded bottom layer, check!
Sandwiched between the outer layer skin and inner waterproof/dustproof dry bag is a padded protective layer. This protective layer is designed to offer additional protection against vibration and shaving. Riding rough enduro type offroad tracks or teeth-rattling backcountry dirt roads, vibration and shaving in many cases will cause holes in any fabric. The layer adds additional padded protection. This minimises holes, protects content and valuables and should a hole appear, the soft luggage motorcycle duffel bag can still be used as intended.
Field repairable, check!
When you have a yard sale on a tiny dirt road (on your way to climbing Mount Jebel Toubkal in the Moroccan Atlas mountains), the Duffalo motorbike duffel bag is field repairable.All our Turkana gear motorcycle soft luggage products can be repaired with basic sewing kits or dental floss and a multi tool. Buckles and webbing are standard sizes across the world and easy to find and replace.
Additional attachment for pockets, check!
