Turkish or German Imperial WW1 style leather ammo pouches for Gew 98 "Mauser" ammunition.

These have no maker's name or clear markings, except what could be halve of a Turkish crescent moon and star marking? They are also thinner than others I have seen, so I suspect they are the cavalry version, not the wider infantry type.

Note photos for damage and repairs.

Ideal for German WW1 militaria displays or re-enactments.
