Features:

- Some examples that may be possible on your car:
- Determine which of your many vacuum hoses has sprung a leak and is causing a check-engine light.

Real-time Monitoring
You can monitor the status of most vehicle systems in real-time, even while driving. Exactly what is available on each car varies.
Here are some examples:
Continuously check the coolant temperature in degrees. In a Tiptronic transmission, you can watch the torque converter slip RPM. Want to see if that air box modification really works? Read the mass air flow sensor Are you are running too much boost? Check the misfire counter for each cylinder. Fuel temperature on 1.9 TDi. Watch the injection time/period Intake air temperature Ignition timing You can also log all this to a file and analyze it later.
Find the cause of a check-engine or malfunction-indicator light and RESET it
The control modules in your car store a history of any malfunctions detected. This is very useful, but if the "service engine soon" light comes on, you want to know why, and you want to be able to turn it off if it is not serious, or after you correct the problem. Bought some cheap gas and got a check-engine light? Clear the errors to turn off the light. Drove around with a loose gas cap and don't feel like paying your dealer to reset the light? Do it yourself! Over-tweaked your turbo and don't want anyone to know about it? Clear that error code!
Programming Modifications
You can "re-code" all of the above mentioned control modules. Some modules allow more customization than others. Want to change the behavior of your keyless entry? Want to unlock all doors with a single press? This can be done on some models. Wish you could roll up and down the power windows using the remote? Can do! (on many vehicles) Don't like the horn-honk feature of the alarm when you arm it? Thic can also be changed on some cars. Wish you could use the recirculate button with the air conditioner turned off? Many late-90's Audis won't allow this from the factory, but can be re-coded to make it work If you use it for just one of these features, you are getting your money's worth. If you save just one trip to the dealer to diagnose a check-engine light, it pays for itself.
