The first medal was awarded to Private James Harold Johnson S.A.M.C. It comes with his original, discharge papers and medical shoulder badge showing a red cross. Also original box for medal. Papers tattered but medal in near perfect condition with ribbon as issued.
The second medal was awarded to JS Cowie S.A.M.C who was probably a friend and fellow comrade of above James Harold Johnson as the two medals have the same provenance. We superimposed the picture of the second medal on the following picture…
