Two 3-Ounce Silver outer rings for the Nelson Mandela 5 OZ Medal
These medallions were issued by the Mint of Norway and originally were bi-metal pieces (a 2- Oz 999 Gold inner piece and a 3-OZ .999 silver outer piece (“ring”).
The gold has been removed from both medals and only the silver outer pieces are left (combined 6 OZ .999 silver). The one piece was damaged during the process showing some edge nicks. I weighed both in their plastic capsules (I cannot get them out of their capsules) and the one weighs 108.5 grams and the other one 108.4 grams.
