The plates are 20cm in diameter  They have the VBS back stamp mark of 1883.1900. The plates are decorated on  pale blue backgrounds with embossed foliage with white and yellow Lotus flowers. The plates are in very good condition besides a small chip on the one rim which is not noticeable Each plate has the three firing spur marks.
