Charaxes castor, the giant emperor or giant charaxes, is a butterfly of the family Nymphalidae. It is found throughout the Afrotropical ecozone below the Sahel. The wingspan is 75–85 mm in males and 85–105 mm in females

Papilio lormieri, the central emperor swallowtail, is a species of swallowtail butterfly from the genus Papilio that is found in Cameroon, the Republic of the Congo, Angola, South Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya.
