A set of Japanese Kokeshi dolls.

A rare find! These are vintage in excellent condition.

They are 'nodding' dolls - the head moves in a nodding fashion when the doll is handled.

They open up in the middle and contain tiny dolls - the 'red' doll has 6 and the 'black' doll only 5 - I suspect one was lost.

Height 12 cm.

Made of wood.
