THESE TWO MAGNIFICENT TURKISH "KUTAHYA" HANDMADE AND PAINTED PORCELAIN PLATES EACH MEASURE ROUGHLY 17.5cm ACROSS AND ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS IN EITHER PLATE, BUT THERE IS EVIDENCE OF CRAZING. THE BRIGHTLY COLOURED PAINTWORK MAKE THESE PLATES QUITE ATTRACTIVE. THE ART OF MAKING THESE PLATES HAS REMAINED THE SAME SINCE THE EARLY OTTOMAN EMPIRE AND WERE HUGELY INFLUENCED BY THE PERSIANS. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE BIDDING PER PLATE TO TAKE BOTH.
