Two framed original MARGARET MASKEW etchings of the writer and poet Uys Krige, together with a first edition book about him by the artist herself.
They are #18 and #9 of limited editions of 100 each, one titled "Old Poet amongst Friends" and the other "Ek is Oud" dated 1984 and 1978 respectively.
Both etchings have been overwritten on and personally signed by Uys Krige, somewhat faded on the "Ek is Oud" etching. Please examine the photographs. The etchings are in the original frames, and they are respectively approximately 590 x 500mm and 565 x 475mm.
The hardback book was published without a dust jacket in 1985 by the Chelsea Gallery, Wynberg.
