Two old Medals associated with the Colony of Natal
The medals are the following: -
Colony of Natal: Durban & Coast Society of Agriculture & Industry Award 1899 (Laidlaw # 0633). In Laidlaw's online catalogue (South African Medals) two of the medals shown were rewarded to the same recipient as this medal being W. Plowright.
God Speed Greenock 1902 (Laidlaw # 1236). According to Laidlaw "Greenock is a port town on the south bank of the river Clyde. Sugar was imported into Greenock from the plantations in Natal and refined by Tate & Lyle."
