Two old Stoneware Bottles from Cape Town in Good Condition

 The one bottle is named “Friberg, Tait & Co, Table Mountain, Aerated Water, Woodstock”

A similar bottle on the internet is described as “Two tone glaze, blob top, standard shape stoneware ginger beer bottle from South African firm Friberg, Tait & Co., of Woodstock, whose details are printed on the body of the bottle in a diagonal transfer. There is a printed Barnett & Foster London pottery mark on this bottle, which is 16.9 cm high”.

The bottle is in very good condition

The second bottle is named “Daly & Day, Cape Town”. It is also in good condition. The “chip” at the bottom of the bottle (see second picture) looks more than a manufacturing anomaly.
