FIRST EDITION!! Rhodesia Illustrated with exclusive photographs - Robin Moore  - Condor - November 1977313pp - Paperback in good condition - Internally: slight browning of pages, rest of book is clean and tightly bound.

Robin Moore, who calls Rhodesia his second home, has the uncanny ability to capture for the reader the terror, the bloodshed, and the searing hatreds in this clear and fascinating informative account of the political and social upheavals taking place in Rhodesia today.

The White Tribe - Robin Moore

WITH INSCRIPTION TO F. W. DE KLERK FROM THE AUTHOR: "With this author's respect and highest expectations for the realization of the new South Africa you visualize and are so valiantly trying to bring about in our lifetime"

AWA - Hardcover in good condition - Dustcover: one small tear in bottom of spine - Internally very good.

It's 1976 and the Crippled Eagles, former Green Berets, are fighting as mercenaries in the Rhodesian army. The enemy is the Patriotic Front led by Robert Mugabe and Joshua Nkomo. Roger Masefield, an American author, goes to Rhodesia to tell the story of these Americans and the Rhodesian war, but instead is used as a cover for agents working to overthrow Ian Smith's government. Their goal is to put the Patriotic Front in power. Moore, author of The Green Berets (Ballantine, 1985. pap.), has written a fast-moving story of guerrilla warfare, deceit, and the betrayal of the Rhodesian government by its supposed friends. The parallels to South Africa today are frightening.
