These two incredible large antique Victorian British made hallmarked sterling silver serving spoons have a beautiful monogram on the handles and measure 21.5cm and 22.5cm long respectively. The two spoons have a combined weight of 136.57g. The hallmarks are as follows: 1) The "SS" makers mark confirming the spoon is an original Samuel Smiley spoon, the lion Passant confirming it is British sterling silver (925), the leopard Assay mark confirming the spoon was made in London, the letter "k" confirming the spoon was made in 1865 and the 1838 to 1890 Queen Victoria duty mark stamp. 2) The "JW&C" makers mark confirming the spoon is an original Josiah Williams & Co spoon, the lion Passant confirming it is British sterling silver (925), the castle Assay mark confirming the spoon was made in Exeter, the letter "B" confirming the spoon was made in 1878 and the 1838 to 1890 Queen Victoria duty mark stamp. The spoons are in lovely condition for their age and there is minimal/ normal age and usage related wear and tear.
