The IC-2720H is a unique dual band mobile, providing VHF/VHF, UHF/UHF simultaneous receive capability along with VHF/UHF full duplex operation. Simple touch of a button changes the transmit band.

Independent controls for each band

Operating two bands simultaneously is very simple with Icom’s symmetric layout with a wide LCD display showing both band set- tings in an easy to read side by side format. The IC-2720H provides separate tuning, volume, squelch knobs and function buttons for the left and right side bands. Also, listen to both bands indepen- dently through separate left and right band audio jacks.

The controller with the 3.5m (11.5’) separation cable is an easy to install two pieces configuration. This configuration offers the flexi- bility of mounting the controller while placing the main unit in an out- of-the-way location without any additional cost. Microphone jacks are mounted both on the controller and main unit of the radio!
