Stylish TSM model of the 1973 world championship winning Tyrrell 006. Driven by Jackie Stewart to the title.
Stewart's team mate and good friend was Francois Cevert and when Cevert was killed at the end of 1973, Stewart drove two further laps, parked the car and then walked away from F1.
The 006 had a very short wheelbase to suit Stewart's driving style and was notoriously twitchy.
This TSM model captures the stubby beauty of the 006 with its short nose, tall airbox, side radiators and rear wing hanging far out behind (before they were forced by regulations back to the rear of the cars).
A fascinating TSM model with lots of charm and detail. Presented in French racing blue and simple Elf logos. Rare and now expensive.
In as-new condition and in its original box also mint condition.
From my private collection more F1 cars to follow.
