The 8th Theater Sustainment Command (8th TSC) is the senior Army logistics command for the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) area of responsibility. This is the subdued (olive drab) version. A subdued military patch uses muted, low-contrast colors (like black, olive green, brown, or tan) instead of bright, full colors, designed to reduce visibility and blend in with camouflage uniforms, making soldiers harder to spot during tactical operations, deployments, or in low-light situations, while still identifying rank, unit, or skill.
