This is the second-last part of the collection of items minted and printed for Mandela’s Official inauguration in 1994.

The previous two collections that I offered this year sold for just under, and just over R7000.00 each

Here is a summary of what the winning bidder on this collection will get (you are bidding on all the items listed beneath – and shown in the pictures – as one single lot.)

Large 1994 Inauguration R1 silver coin in White V.I.P. box (I sold one of these on the 4th of April for over R4 500.00). I do not have the latest Hearn catalogue but it would be interesting to see what these white boxed V.I.P. R1 Inauguration coins are currently catalogued at.

Letter sized Gold Embossed Envelope (National Inauguration Committee) and a A4 size Gold Embossed Envelope (National Inauguration Committee). Street plan around the Union Buildings to assist attendees of the Inauguration Ceremony entitled Presidential Inauguration 10 May 1994. Also Gold embossed letters (English and Afrikaans separate) addressed to the residents of Pretoria informing them of the dignified ceremony in the amphitheatre, who will be performing, traffic arrangements, police presence, etc. Finally a Floor plan (in colour) of the seating arrangements for the event at the amphitheatre at the Union Buildings.
