Modem Compatibility
Please ensure you have verified your connection setup with your ISP before installing this router. Some setups will use combination routers that have both modem and router functions. The Ultra-link WF300 router does NOT include a built-in modem function. To connect the Ultra-link WF300 router and utilise your Internet from your ISP you will need a standalone modem device to convert the data from your ISP, most ISPs will supply this device upon installation. The Ultra-link WF300 must be connected via LAN cable to the standalone modem device and not directly to your ISP line. To support ADSL, you will need an ADSL modem. To support Fibre, you will need a Fibre modem. To support 4G you will need a 4G modem or 4G mobile router as all these networks use different modems.
