The play is a dramatic retelling of the Greek mythological hero's journey, blending mythological elements with a focus on the human condition and the struggles of life. It was first staged at Her Majesty's Theatre in London in the same year and received attention from the Royal Family.

Book Condition: Fairly good condition. Page 13/14 has a tear as well as the prologue page. Some of the pages remain uncut so this book has never been read. I have tried to take photos of the few damaged areas in the book. It is otherwise in good condition.
