The Umarex Airem 2 Break Barrel Air Pellet Rifle is a budget-friendly package for shooters looking for a dependable choice with options not typically found at this price level. This Air Pellet Rifle utilizes a TNT nitrogen piston, which is a type of gas spring that offers the user advantages over a traditional spring-piston powerplant, such as smoother and quieter operation, lower recoil, and consistent operation despite low temperatures. In addition, a nitrogen piston lasts longer and is not susceptible to spring fatigue, and leaving it cocked for long periods does not result in damage to the airgun.

The Airem 2 solves a problem common to many spring air rifles by using the Nucleus integrated rail platform system to nearly eliminate vibration and movement that translate to scope movement. It also has a fiber optic front sight and a fiber optic rear sight, in addition to the Picatinny optics rail that is part of the Nucleus rail system.
