Very striking. Condition as photographed and in my opinion as

new. The combination of the black, ivory, olive and grey tones is

exceptional, adding to this the beautiful Mahi design which I know

as Herati. This design apparently originating from the town of Herat

Persia. I would regard the carpet as small to medium. Please note

the measurements. It speaks volumes!. Approximately length with

short fringes 161cm and the width 94cm

The Mahi flower is a rosette enclosed in a diamond with curved leaves

or small flowers placed around the sides & corners, some rendering of

the leaves resemble fish which is the reason why the design is Mahi

meaning fish in Farsi.  This carpet has silk highlighting which further

enhances.
