290mm x 235 mm collection of weekly publications of "Under the Union Jack", Volume 1 number 1 of Saturday November 11, 1899 is preceeded by 8 pages of index. Thereafter follow parts 2 to 18 of volume 1, and parts 19 to 36 of volume 2, and another 8 index pages. This collection has been rebound in green skivertex, either from the original pictorial cloth collection published as two separate volumes, or using the individual loose weeklies. Overall in good condition, with minor marks and a few tears to edges of pages. Bookplate of previous owner pasted to front endpaper. 856 numbered pages in total.
