Union of South Africa: Gold Pound (Sovereign) of 1924: NGC graded MS 63 (Very Rare)

Only 45 coins graded in total by the NGC.  

In August 2020, it was reported that a 1924 SA Sovereign in mint state was sold by Heritage Auctions of Dallas for US$28 800 (R430 000). The coin formed part of the Caranett Collection of Sovereigns of the British Empire.
