This 10 inch slide rule is in its original box including a 16 page instruction manual. The rule is made of mahogany wood with plastic coated paper with 6 scales: A, B, C and D, Log-Log and Reciprocal. The cursor is made of plastic with a single hairline. This type of cursor was used on the early Unique models. On the backside, a table lists values for sine, cosine, tangent and cotangent for 1 - 90 degrees. In addition, 22 trigonometrical formulas are printed. Decimal equivalents of fractions are printed on the trough. The rule is in very good condition, though the box is a bit battered. The UNIQUE Company was established in England in 1920.
