1910 United Kingdom One Penny struck during the final year of the reign of King Edward VII. This large bronze penny is a classic British type and an important end-of-reign issue, as Edward VII died in 1910 and was succeeded by George V.
The obverse features the bare head of King Edward VII facing right with the legend EDWARDVS VII DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX FID: DEF: IND: IMP: while the reverse carries the traditional seated figure of Britannia holding trident and shield, with the date below.
A desirable final-year issue for collectors of British bronze coinage and Edward VII series.
An attractive circulated example with even medium brown tone and moderate wear. Major details on both the portrait and Britannia remain visible, with pleasing surfaces and no serious damage noted.
