This 1936 issue was struck at the Philadelphia Mint, indicated by the absence of a mintmark beneath FIVE CENTS on the reverse. With a mintage of nearly 119 million pieces, it is a popular and affordable collectible for American coin enthusiasts.
Condition - F to VF
The date remains clear and the main portrait and buffalo outlines are still visible, although there is heavy circulation wear and much of the finer detail has been lost. The rim is worn but complete and there are no major holes, bends or repairs.
