The Army Achievement Medal is awarded to members of the Armed Forces, below the rank of Colonel, who while serving in any capacity in the Army in a non-combat area distinguished themselves by outstanding or meritorious service. But not on a level that would warrant the award of an Army Commendation medal. Complete Decoration set in Original Presentation box with Medal as issued. Box is dated 1985

TKey elements of the Department of the Army seal are centered in a bronze octogon. The reverse reads, "FOR MILITARY ACHIEVEMENT" with laurel sprays at the bottom. The ribbon has a centre stripe of blue with a white stripe down the middle. The blue is bordered by alternating white and green striped sections.
