This adaptor can be used to connect to most types of modems / routers using SMA Connectors to improve the signal reception . If you use a cellphone as a modem or if 3G/GSM Reception is poor, this will also improve your signal when the device is placed near to the smartphone. Most cellphones do not have a plug or jack for an external antenna. This universal adaptor solves this problem and is supplied with a SMA (F) connector. This adapter has been engineered for a 3G band, but is also designed to work for the two bands (900 and 1800MHz) and also the UMTS band (2000 ¿ 2200MHz).
