All you have to do is select the type and make of your item in the booklet (e.g. TV, Sony) and then follow the simple instructions to enter the three figure code given for your item into the remote - this tells it what equipment you want to use it with.
In total upto 4 different items can be programmed into the memory and controlled using this one remote - finally you can end the nightmare of always having endless different remotes balanced delicately on the arm of your sofa!!!
