This gorgeous piece features 99 single cut diamonds totalling just under a half carat, pavé set in 9ct white and yellow gold. The broad shank 9ct white gold ring starts narrower under the finger, widening and becoming grooved before the shoulders and is encrusted with sparkling pavé diamonds as the shank becomes the ring head. Of the 3 bands, the outer two are white gold and the centre one is yellow gold. It is a substantially made ring and at 5,25 grams, is quite heavy. The ring head measures 18mm across x 11mm long and 3mm high. The ring is hallmarked with both the 9K and the British 375 hallmark for 9ct gold, the hallmark 0.45 indicating 0.45 carats of authenticated diamonds and the London Assay assay mark. I have had the ring jeweller tested and authenticated. His evaluation certificate for R16'000 will accompany the ring. It is a particularly unusual ring in its dual use of yellow and white gold and the design that looks like three rings from certain angles. The gold in between the diamonds has been raised into a tactile surface from which the light bounces. It would make a beautiful and fascinating alternative to a traditional wedding ring or simply a rather special vintage addition to your collectable diamond ring collection!
