ANTIQUE PEWTER INKWELL WITH GLASS INK POTS
Unusual piece in good condition - Ornate design
The inkwell is in good condition with no damage apart from a small crack on the one side as can be seen in the image above. It is hardly visible and does not detract from the beauty of the piece. The glass pots are chip and crack free.
The ink pots have pewter lids with brass handles and fit into depressions in the stand.
The stand measures 31cm long x 12cm wide.
The origin and exact age of the piece is unknown. There are no maker's marks and only the number 2931 is stamped on the bottom.
