This vintage piece is crafted in 14 ct yellow gold, featuring an unusual design - an elongated oval with openwork in the centre, with raised sides and three round cut diamonds claw set in white gold in the centre, spaced across the ring head, with openwork below, so they appear to be floating. There is a slender openwork feature within the frame section . A polished 9ct yellow gold shank forks to create the frame and support the raised element. The piece weighs 2,3 grams and bears the 585 hallmark for 14ct gold as well as the jeweller's signature. It is ring size 8/half (Q/half in British and SA sizing). It came from a vintage jeweller in the famous jewellery quarter of Birmingham in England. The ring comes with an independent jeweller authentication and valuation certificate of R10'000.
