FASCINATING GEOMETRIC SEGMENTED BALTIC AMBER STERLING SILVER RING. NATURAL RED, YELLOW AND GREEN AMBER

This piece has an unusual geometric design, featuring three large rectangular Baltic Amber cabochons bezel set in sterling silver. Hand crafted, the amber is 3 different colours - red, green and yellow (the red more like a dark russet), all with fascinating inclusions, which add interest. With softly rounded corners, the slightly domed cabochons stand 4mm above the 18mm wide x 15mm long ring head. The shank is a solid sterling silver band that meets the ring head as it curves down the shoulders. It spreads quite wide on top of the finger making it lovely and noticeable. The striking piece is in good condition, with some buff marks; it weighs a hefty 4.86 grams and bears the 925 hallmark that indicates sterling silver. It is vintage but not old. The sterling silver indicates some sign of its age with buff marks and minor wear and tear. The amber is in excellent condition. A real conversation piece.
