UNUSUAL HANDCRAFTED NATURAL LAPIS LAZULI SOLID STERLING SILVER RING RAISED DOME DESIGN

Large and showy without being flashy, this ring is crafted out of solid sterling silver, which has been intricately decorated with a raised and tactile pattern. It presents a natural Lapis Lazuli gemstone, measuring 13 x 19 mm and polished into an organic cabochon. It is bezel set into a deep bezel setting that raises the gemstone 12 mm above the finger. It creates a dramatic and rather unusual raised dome design. The ring head and its deep supporting galley continues without interruption into the shank of the ring, creating a single ring head in a broad band design. The ring is quite broad on the shoulders - 15 mm - and it tapers to 4 mm at the back of the shank for comfort. The whole shank is softly rounded, making it particularly comfortable to wear. The Lapis Lazuli is a strong royal blue in colour with subtle inclusions. It weighs 13,1 grams, is ring size 6/quarter (M/half in British and SA sizing) and is hallmarked 925 for sterling silver.
