REAL PIETERSITE GEMSTONE SET IN STERLING SILVER 925

Pietersite is a fascinating gemstone that was originally discovered by Sid Pieters during a land prospecting trip in Namibia during the early 1960's. This stone is sometimes referred to as the Eagles Eye stone or even the Tempest Stone. Spiritually, it is a stone of vision and is used to link the earthbound consciousness with the spiritual realm.

I deliberately shot the ring in two ways so you can see how different it looks with the light facing it and then with the light behind the stone.

The ring is a rather nice design. It has the appearance of being four separate silver rings but in fact it is all one piece. The stone is set in solid silver with a surrounding double lip.
